Join the only remaining full seaside orchestra in the UK for their annual celebration of music from the Palm Court! This concert features music by Adolphe Adam, Charles Ancliffe, Kenneth Alford and Jules Massenet. 

 

A special feature of this concert will be a performance of a piece by LMS Trustee Jim Cooke: Frivolous Frolics as well as Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's ballet suite from Hiawatha

 

The concert will also feature a work for piccolo solo and orchestra (The Comet Scherzo). Val Baulard will lead the audience in a rendition of the 1926 carnival song Take Me Down to Morecambe and further audience involvement will be invited with a rendition of Bring Me Sunshine in celebration of Eric Morecambe's centenary year!
